Suarez Chides Luiz For Posting Pictures Of His Bloodied Foot

Luis Suarez has told Atletico Madrid defender Filipe Luis to grow up after he posted a photograph on social medial of a bloodied foot.

The two players clashed in the second half of their 1-1 draw in La Liga on Wednesday and the Brazilian accompanied the photograph with the message:

A good job he never touched me.

Suarez was booked for the incident in the second half when both players appeared to go in studs-up for a loose ball.

Asked about the post Suarez said:

Football is for men and these things should be left on the pitch.

If everyone did this kind of thing it would be a circus of photographs. Did Messi publish a photo last season? No, the game is for men.

The reference was to a feisty Atletico versus Barca encounter last season when Luis was shown a straight red for a knee-high raised boot challenge on Lionel Messi.

Suarez received support in this angry post-match feud from Atletico's Fernando Torres.
