Betting Website Pays Out A Million Euros On Hillary's Victory

Irish betting site Paddy Power is so sure that Donald Trump will lose the U.S Presidential election to Hillary Clinton that it made a major gamble by paying out $1.1 million to those who bet on Clinton.

According to the betting site, Donald Trump's campaign is 'dead already' as the U.S Public prepares to vote for it's new leader in 3 weeks time. According to Paddy Power, Clinton now has a 85.7% chance of becoming president, while Trump's chances are down to 18.2%. "The recent flood of revelations have halted his momentum and his chances now look as patchy as his tan," Paddy Power said on its blog.

But if Trump wins, Paddy Power will be facing serious financial challenges. "If Trump wins we'll be facing a double payout and left with some seriously expensive egg on our faces," spokesman Lewis Davey told CNNMoney. Paddy Power also revealed it paid 6,000 British and Irish gamblers who placed their bets on Clinton before 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday and revealed 10,000 people bet on Donald Trump.
