Ondo 2016: We Did Not Destroy Akeredolu's Campaign Posters - PDP Denies Allegations

The Ondo state chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has denied defacing the campaign posters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in the state, Rotimi Akeredolu.

According to Punch, the spokesman of the Akeredolu Support Organisation, Steve Otaloro on Sunday, November 13, 2016, alleged that the PDP had defaced Akeredolu’s posters in Akure.

In a swift reaction, the Ondo PDP Publicity Secretary, Banji Okunomo, said “Don’t mind them, they are bringing up untrue allegations to cover up their last week dastardly act when their supporters destroyed Jegede’s posters in Akure.

“We have got all their antics to rig the forthcoming election. They are intimidated by Jegede’s popularity and whether they like it or not, we are winning the forthcoming election.”

Meanwhile, the APC guber candidate, Rotimi Akeredolu has promised to revive Ondo’s economy if he is elected as Governor.

The Ondo state governorship election is slated to hold on November 28, 2016.
