Harry Kane Pens New Tottenham Deal, To Remain With Spurs Till 2022

England striker, Harry Kane has snubbed strong attention  from Spanish giants Real Madrid to pen a new long-term contract with Tottenham Hotspur which will see him stay at the club until 2022.

The 23-year-old who is a graduate of the Spurs youth system is the current Premier League Golden Boot holder following his 25 goals return last season which still stands as a club record haul for one player in an individual campaign - and he was one of four Spurs players named in the PFA Premier League Team of the Year for 2015-16.

Harry made his first team debut against Hearts in the Europa League in August, 2011 and he has gone on to score 70 goals in 137 appearances in Tottenham colours. His Three Lions debut was memorably as he scored just 79 seconds into the game against Lithuania at Wembley in March, 2015.

Tottenham Hotspur posted on their official website: “We are delighted to announce that @HKane has signed a new contract with the Club, which will run until 2022.”

On his part, the player said: "It's amazing. Everyone knows how much I love this team and what I feel for this Club.

"I feel I'm at a stage in my life and career where it's time to take that next step." #COYS

"Really happy to have signed a new deal. Big years ahead and signing a new contract is just the start."

Harry Kane currently has 17 caps and five goals to his name for England.
