Man United Agrees £30 Million Deal For Dutch Defender

The January transfer window is just three weeks away and rumours of possible transfers have started pouring in.  Manchester United are already making plans to acquire new signings and first on its shopping list is Lazio defender Stefan de Vriji.

The Dutch international is valued at £30 million and Jose Mourinho has been reported to have sanctioned the deal according to Italian media outlet Il Messaggero but the player won’t join the club until the end of the season.

Manchester United have been after the player for a couple of seasons and it's looking clear that the defender has had enough of the Serie A after he rejected a new improved Lazio contract extension talks three times.

Recall, that Nigerian star Ogenyi Onazi took Lazio to FIFA over unpaid wages and the club seems to be having serious internal issues with more players set to leave the club at the expiration of their contracts and others prepared to force their way out of their deals.

De Vrij current deal expires in the summer of 2018 and he is already focused on a move to Manchester United despite interest from the likes of Chelsea, Manchester City and AC Milan.
