Australian Open: Another Big Upset Occurs

The World Number One, Britain's Andy Murray, was regarded as the favourite to win this year's Australian Open, especially when Istomin sent out Djokovic but Mischa Kverev stunned the world when he beat Murray in four sets.

The World number 50, Zverev is the lowest ranked player to have beat Murray at a Grand Slam since 2009 and the game ended 7-5, 5-7, 6-2, 6-4.

After the match, Zverev said:

Honestly, I don't know how I pulled it off.

Murray said:

Did I miss an opportunity?

Even had I got through this match, [Kei] Nishikori or Roger [Federer] are waiting. Stan [Wawrinka] is still in. Guys like [Jo-Wilfried] Tsonga. There's certainly no guarantees that I would have gone further. I don't feel like this is any more of an opportunity than other years.
