Boko Haram: Insurgents Invade Adamawa Village, Army warns Supporters
Having destroyed their hideout in Sambisa forest, some fleeing Boko Haram members on Tuesday invaded the Dar village in Adamawa State in order to abduct some of the villagers.
Soldiers were however in place to repel the attempt, as troops attached to the 28 Task Force Battalion engaged the insurgents in a fierce gun battle for close to an hour.
The attack was said to have been contained by the troops and the local vigilante group members. And some members of the sect were said the have been killed.
Meanwhile, Director, Army Public Relations, Brig. Gen. Sani Usman, warned that anyone hiding any of the insurgents would face the wrath of the law.
