Chelsea Boss Asks Board To Sign £61m Worth Striker To Replace Costa

Chelsea manager, Antonio Conte, has asked the Chelsea board to make an effort to sign Alvaro Morata from Real Madrid this summer, according to reports in Spain.

There are claims that Morata, 24, is unhappy at Madrid having started just 10 games in all competitions for Zinedine Zidane’s side this season.

Morata is open to returning to Juventus but a move back to the Serie A champions is unfeasible due to the transfer fee.

Conte reportedly remains keen on bringing the Spain international to Stamford Bridge at the end of the campaign and has already spoken to the Chelsea board about making the deal happen.
