President Buhari Is Neither Ill Nor In Any London Hospital - Femi Adeshina

Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina has stressed that President Muhammadu Buhari is neither ill nor hospitalised in London as ill health reports keep circulating.

In a report by Vanguard Newspaper, Adesina made this known in a TV programme that aired on Thursday, January 26, 2017.

“The President is in London on vacation. He is not in any hospital and he is not ill.
“When he was travelling last week the statement we put out was that he was going on vacation and during the vacation he would do routine medical check-up and nothing has changed from what we pushed out last week.

“If anybody has fed something else into the rumour mill that is just what it is- rumour”, Adesina said.

President Buhari left Nigeria for a 10-day vacation in the United Kingdom on January 19, 2017.

The President was rumoured dead on Friday, January 20, 2017 by a section of the Nigerian media after a UK website published the death tale.

The Federal Government on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 maintained that it will fish out the source/sources of the death rumour and make the individuals face the full wrath of the law.
